Playing video-camera hot potato one day with his wife, the founder of Looxcie experienced a "what if" moment. What if you could video the events most important to you without being stuck behind the video camera? What if you could be a participant and capture video at the same time? What if you could share your experiences immediately with your friends and family without sacrificing your own enjoyment? Looxcie was founded in 2008 to answer these questions.

Previously president and CEO of Riverstone Networks, Romulus helped to pioneer the metro Ethernet market, take Riverstone public, and build the company into a leading supplier of networking equipment to tier-1 carriers worldwide. Before founding Riverstone, Romulus directed sales, services, marketing and engineering organizations at Cabletron Systems as the company's COO. He also co-founded YAGO Systems, where he served as CTO and Vice President of engineering. Romulus also held various management and technical positions at Cisco Systems, Kalpana, and Wollongong. Romulus earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer engineering from Santa Clara University.
Before joining Looxcie, Vivek was CFO and Treasurer for BioImagene, which was acquired in September 2010 by Hoffman-La Roche for $100M. Earlier, Vivek developed the finance and operations infrastructure for Cast Iron Systems, Inc., which was later acquired by IBM for $190M. During his start-up tenure, Vivek has helped raise over $110M in equity and over $25M in debt financing. Vivek has also held various management positions with Cummins, Inc. and is experienced in diverse area like finance, international channel management, M&A and divestitures, JV and OEM deals internationally. Vivek received his MBA in Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and BA (Honors) in History from St. Stephen's College at University of Delhi, India.
For more than two decades, Jerome has served as a technical and business executive at both small private companies and large public enterprises. Before joining Looxcie, Inc., Jerome had business unit responsibilities and later served as general manager at Automation Controls, a factory automation distributor. He honed his manufacturing operations and engineering knowledge as director of engineering services at ATMI, Inc., and director of manufacturing/operations at Microbar, Inc. Jerome previously held technical positions at Purus, Inc., and conducted combustion research at Altex Technologies, contributing to high efficiency combustion solutions. Jerome earned a B.S. degree from Santa Clara University.
Before joining Looxcie, Inc., Bob helped NVIDIA achieve record market share for NVIDIA graphics cards in retail and e-commerce. He previously served as director of channel marketing at Plantronics, where he improved market execution and ROI measurement to help drive the company’s success in retail and wireless carrier channels. He also held various positions at Apple for 12 years, pioneering the company’s catalog/mail order channel, which ultimately led to more than $450 million in annual revenue. Bob also held various executive positions at Adaptec, Postini, and Telocity. Bob earned a B.A. degree in business administration from California State University, Chico.
